Emma & David | Wedding Film | Aswanley Wedding Venue | Aberdeenshire | Scotland

“When love grows, so too will beauty, for love is the beauty of the soul.”

It would be very difficult to find anything that wasn’t beautiful about Emma Lois and David's wedding day, most likely because almost every element was overflowing with love. Having gotten to know Emma as a bridesmaid at a number of our previous wedding, we knew she would be a beautiful bride. However, seeing her in her dress, looking so effortlessly breath-taking, may have brought just a few tears to our eyes.

Emma and her family had put a lot of thought into how they wanted the wedding day to look and feel. Their care and attention to detail resulted in a dream like wedding setting at Aswanley Wedding Venue with Supernova Wedding Design & Flowers making their vision a reality. Just look at those flowers. Wow!

Music was always going to be an important part of this couple’s wedding day. They had arranged for their friends, Sean and Zander, to play during the ceremony and when we heard their rendition of ‘Clear’ by Needtobreathe, it gave us goosebumps, so much so, we used it as the inspiration for their highlights soundtrack.

The weather was pretty wet for the majority of the day but that didn’t dampen the bridal party’s spirits and during a brief dry spell we dashed out with Susan Renée Photography to capture some magical moments. Susan and her team are absolute pros at putting couples at ease and helping them actually enjoy their photoshoot, which obviously shines through in the images they create.

After an amazing meal from Val Morrison and her team, Phase4 - Wedding and Party Band got the party started with a mix of pop, rock and ceilidh. If you’re currently looking for a wedding band, they are well worth a listen

Mr and Mrs May, your day was picture perfect from start to finish. Thank you so much for the privilege of being a part of it. Here are your wedding film highlights xx
