“If the world is my oyster, then our family is my pearl.”
Looking back over Racheland Iain's wedding, one very important aspect of their day stands out; the love shared between their families. It was heart-warming to see how much both families meant to the couple and how much the couple meant to this newly created family.
Aswanley Wedding Venue, a rural gem just outside Huntly, makes for a perfect wedding venue. Val Morrison and her team created a stunning backdrop for the couple and as the sun shone all day their guests enjoyed all that had been put on for them.
Aswanley also has some amazing cottages located just around the corner, the girls got ready at Wester Park which is just perfect for all the family to spend some time in the morning preparing for the busy day ahead. Whilst the girls were being pampered by Makeup by kirsty and Gemma Taylor Hair, the boys got ready at Straitinnan cottage.
When it came to that all important moment for Rachel to get into her dress, it was great having Eilidh of Brides Delight there doubling up as Bridesmaidand Dresser for the day!
We love working alongside the talented team at Rubislaw Studio and they have created some truly stunning images. Whilst the couple were getting some photographs taken, the soundtrack to the day was provided by the outrageously talented Ritz Trio who played all of Rachel and Iain’s favourite songs whilst the guests enjoyed a perfect day outside in the sun.
To round things off, another first for us was the phenomenal Galik Bred Ceilidh Band who had everyone on their feet all night long!
Rachel and Iain, weddings like yours' are why we do what we do ;) Here is your wedding highlights film! x
